After many requests, I am excited to introduce a new service…Online Support Groups! If you are transitioning to a plant-based diet or if you are a seasoned herbivore, social support offers longevity, comfort, and ease. Research shows better health outcomes and long-term weight loss maintenance for people who maintain strong support systems.
Now you can join likeminded others guided by me, a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer, who has been helping people lose weight, get healthy, and change their diet and fitness for 20 years. And you can do it online and in the comfort of your own home. Using Google Hangout video chats and/or phone sessions, these one-hour weekly group sessions (of ten people or less) will provide you with advice, encouragement, and sustenance to help answer questions, provide advice, and resolve concerns that may arise with the normal day-to-day living in the plant-based world. With various day and time slots available (weekend and weekday), you will be provided with instructions and options on how to choose the best group for you and your schedule once you sign up.
Each series of 10 one-hour sessions will include:
- Tips for motivation.
- Time for everyone to share experiences, challenges, and recipes.
- A nutrition and fitness tip for the week.
